Both = Minors. the 2 attributs more are not worth 75hp, reduce blind/cripple is.
As it was mentionned, absorbtion vs physicals is useless, even a (good) warrior attacking you will switch to an elemental weapon and screw your rune....

As a warrior, you most likely will need Superior Vigor and Superior Absorption wherever you go.

PvE: I'll take a Weapon Mastery Superior and the ones above.
PvP: RA, TA, AB, CM: Same as PvE
GvG: None except the Superior Vigor and Absorption runes

It can be argued that Superior Absorption is unneeded, due to the changes back whenever that nerf was..

I always have Sup Weapon on my war for RA/TA/AB/HA but never in GvG.
Also Sup abs and Vigor for everything.

If I'm expected to tank with lots of health, all minors. If I'm out trying to kill stuff fast, I run with dual majors or a superior. The health penalty isn't that bad if you don't play stupidly...

What was their reasoning for nerfing the absorb runes anyway?

I usually run hat+sup run (for weapons and tactics, major rune for strength), minor strength and tactics, vigor, and absorption. I change my hats alot depending on which situation im in.

Nah, they were, if 7 dmg reduction was stopping you.. Who cares about warriors anyway, just degen and hex them to death.

its a uncalled change imho.

I have 1 sup. vigor, 1 minor tactics, 1 minor strength and 2 vitae.

BUT, I have a headpiece for each attribute with a sup. rune on it making me very versatile and allowing me to change to almost any build I choose.

+1 axe helm w/ a sup axe rune
+1 sword helm w/ a sup sword rune
+1 hammer helm w/ a sup hammer rune
+1 tactics helm w/ a sup tactics rune
+1 strength helm w/ a sup strength rune.

I do thise for EVERY character I have - W, R, Ele, Necro, monk(except for soul reaping and energy storage)
